enright & Ocheltree, llp

Enright & Ocheltree, LLP devotes much of it’s legal practice to issues affecting individuals with developmental disabilities. The California regional centers serving this population make up much of it’s client base.

One of the firm’s core tenets is to honor and protect the relationship between the regional centers and the regional centers’ clients. In implementing this principle, the firm guides the regional centers to balance their immediate concerns with long-term implications for both the regional centers and the individuals they serve.

With extensive experience in general litigation, and conservatorship and mental health law, the firms is known for translating legalese into straight talk and direct action. One of the great joys is the lasting, deep relationships the firm has formed with it’s clients.

The firm represents clients in the Probate, Juvenile, Writs and Receivers, Mental Health, and Criminal Departments of the California Superior Courts, in the California Courts of Appeal, in the Federal District Court for the Central District of California. The firm also regularly appears in administrative proceedings before the California Office of Administrative Hearings.

While advocating for it’s clients in courts and administrative proceedings, Enright & Ocheltree, LLP uses every opportunity to educate the court and the parties about the rights of individuals with developmental disabilities and the parameters of the obligations of the regional centers.

Partner Aaron Abramowitz, has more than a decade of Family Law experience, and the firm has expanded its services to include a Family Law Group.  The new group will tap into the more than 50 years of combined litigation experience within the firm.
